Victoria Varga`s hematite collection is created of resin inlay consisting of powdered pigments. The lightweight paste is packed into the back of each earring (or pendant). This process is reminiscent of `scagliola,` the ancient Roman art of mixing ground marble and granite with plaster. This blend of old and new techniques allows Victoria to create jewelry that is bold, lightweight and fun to wear. |
