This heart motif bracelet features Victoria Varga`s charming stylized Red Jasper inlay and includes a secure magnetic clasp. Sterling, rubber, 7 1/2 inches long with 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch `charm.`
Victoria Varga`s jewelry is made of sterling silver with an inlay of resin, red jasper and colored pigments. First the graphics are cut out of sheet silver and set in a bezel. Then a lightweight paste is created by combining resin with the powdered materials. The paste is packed into the back of each bezel. This process is reminiscent of `scagliola,` the ancient Roman art of mixing ground marble and granite with plaster. This blend of old and new techniques allows Victoria to create jewelry that is bold, lightweight and fun to wear. |
