A California native, Kathleen Maley has been making jewelry and art objects in San Francisco for over 14 years. Kathleen creates sculptural jewelry that highlights the contrast between sterling silver and high karat gold vermeil. Each piece of jewelry is constructed by hand from silver sheet and wire, soldered and formed using a mallet and mandrels. Textures are created with steel hammers and custom-made stamping and chasing tools. |
