The delicate line drawings on this sophictated creation in black and white are the result of a ancient technique known to master potters. The basic pot is raku which is a low fire technique and the line drawings are the result of horse hair having been applied to the surface of the pot and allowed to `burn` off during firing, thus creating this terrific design. Because of the low fire technique THIS VASE WILL NOT HOLD WATER. A perfect vase for dried flower arrangements or is quite beautiful as an accent piece.
